Three Islands, Memories Galore: Paros, Santorini and Naxos

I believe going to the Greek islands is probably one of the greatest things you can do in life. Three of the prettiest islands we had visited over three consecutive summers with incredible views, a rich history and lot stuff to see/do on Paros; Santorini & Naxos. All of the islands have their own attractions and experiences that make them unique.

Paros: The Island of Beaches

The island of Paros has excellent beaches VideoYOU land on pristine beaches with clear blue, warm water Gorgeous beaches for swimming and sunbather are Kolymbithres, as well as Santa Maria. Water sports such as windsurfing and snorkeling can also be done here. In addition to the beaches, Paros is dotted with beautiful villages like Naoussa and Parikia. Here you can meander down narrow lanes, eat delicious local fare and peruse handmade wares.

In short: Santorini — a couples’ paradise

Santorini has some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Sunset is the best in oia. The sky transforms orange, pink and purple giving a magic feeling. White buildings with blue domes are everywhere and oh so Instagram worthy! Stroll amongst ancient ruins at Akrotiri, discover local wineries or laze on the volcanic beaches. The island is also known for its tasty local dishes. Be sure to sample moussaka (an aubergine and lamb bake) as well local fish dishes.

It is the biggest of three islands with Naxos being in size. Australia is not only about beaches, but it also has many hills and mountains. For hikers, the climbing of Mount Zeus – the highest peak in Cyclades. It is also an island with a rich history where you can still find ancient temples,j and 1500 year old castles. Naxos is famed for its local cheese and potatoes, so it makes sense to try them in Naxos itself. Alternatively you can explore small villages and experience the true culture of the island.
